d) Acidophilus
If you are allergic to lactose which is found in yoghurt you can take acidophilus capsules instead. Alternatively, you can purchase lactobacillus acidophilus powder and make your own douche. Mix 1 teaspoon of the powder with two cups of lukewarm water. Use this douche at least 7 nights in a row. If you don’t want to douche then you can use Lactobacillus acidophilus gelatin capsules. Insert two of them into your vagina each night before going to sleep. They generally dissolve quickly thus minimizing any form of discomfort that you may experience.

e) Tea Tree Oil
Add a few drops of tea tree oil in your bath and soak for about 20 minutes. You can also try tea tree oil pessaries.
